Mckenna Grace was born on June 25, 2006 in Grapevine, Texas as the only child of medical sales representative Crystal and orthopedic surgeon Ross. Grace was educated via homeschooling and later, during her acting career, by on-set tutors.
Television Career
Grace began acting at the age of five when she appeared in her first television commercial. She subsequently went to Los Angeles with her parents, where she landed the recurring role of Jasmine Bernstein on the Disney XD sitcom "Crash & Bernstein." Grace remained on the show until its conclusion in 2014. During this time, she and her parents permanently settled in Los Angeles. Grace had her next major television role from 2013 to 2015, as Faith Newman on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless." Grace made her big-screen debut in the 2013 apocalyptic dramedy "Goodbye World." She was subsequently in such films as "Suburban Gothic," "Frankenstein," "Mr. Church," "The Angry Birds Movie," and "Independence Day: Resurgence." Grace had her film breakthrough starring as an intellectually gifted seven-year-old in the 2017 film "Gifted," for which she earned rave reviews.
