Forrest Frank is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has a net worth of $10 million.

Forrest Frank first achieved mainstream success as one half of the pop duo Surfaces, whose 2019 single "Sunday Best" became a global TikTok hit, reached #19 on the Billboard Hot 100, and went multi-platinum. He later reinvented himself as a solo Christian artist, combining pop, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, and electronic production in songs designed to bring faith-based music to younger mainstream audiences. Early Life

Forrest Neil Frank was born on April 8, 1995, in Houston, Texas, and grew up in a musical Christian family. His mother was a worship leader, and his grandmother wrote children's music. His grandfather was Neil Frank, the longtime meteorologist and former director of the National Hurricane Center.

Frank became interested in creating music while he was young and taught himself to play several instruments, including piano, guitar, and ukulele. Music remained largely a hobby as he pursued a more conventional career path.

He attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he studied business and participated in the school's professional selling program. Frank graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2017 and accepted a sales position with Abbott Nutrition in Seattle.

Even while preparing for corporate life, he was constantly recording music. Frank built a small home studio and spent much of his free time writing, producing, and experimenting with songs. He eventually realized that the music he was making outside work had the potential to become a career.

Surfaces and "Sunday Best"

While attending Baylor, Frank discovered music that Colin Padalecki, a student at Texas A&M University, had posted online. Frank contacted him, and the two began collaborating remotely before forming Surfaces.

The duo released its debut album, "Surf," independently in 2017. Their sound combined pop, R&B, jazz, electronic music, and laid-back beach influences with optimistic lyrics. A second album, "Where the Light Is," followed in 2019.

That album contained "Sunday Best," which would transform both musicians' careers. The song initially built an audience gradually before exploding on TikTok in early 2020. Its "feeling good, like I should" hook became attached to millions of short-form videos as much of the world entered the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Sunday Best" reached #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a multi-platinum single in the United States. As a co-writer and co-producer in addition to being a performer, Frank participates in multiple layers of royalties generated by the recording.

Surfaces subsequently released the albums "Horizons," "Pacifico," "Hidden Youth," and "Good Morning." In 2020, the duo collaborated with Elton John on "Learn to Fly," an extraordinary opportunity for two musicians who had started making records largely on their own.

Frank had been releasing music outside Surfaces for years, initially using the name Forrest. His early solo projects included "Warm" and "Effortless," followed by additional independent releases.

His career took a more defined direction as his Christian faith increasingly became the explicit focus of his music. Frank has explained that although he grew up around Christianity, his faith became personally meaningful while he was in college. He also felt there was an opening for Christian music that could fit naturally alongside the pop, hip-hop, and electronic songs younger listeners already streamed.

One of the major turning points was "No Longer Bound," his collaboration with Christian rapper Hulvey. Frank independently wrote, produced, recorded, and released the track, and its success demonstrated that his faith-centered material could reach a substantial audience.

In 2023, he released "California Cowboy," a highly personal project inspired in part by his relationship with his wife, Grace. His solo momentum subsequently led to a deal involving River House Records, 10K Projects, and Warner Music Group.

"Child of God"

Frank released "Child of God" in July 2024. The 20-track album included "Good Day," "No Longer Bound," "Up!," "Always," and collaborations with artists including Tori Kelly and JVKE.

The album debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart and became the best-selling Christian album released in 2024. It was subsequently certified Gold by the RIAA.

"Good Day" became one of the project's defining songs. At the 2024 GMA Dove Awards, Frank won New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for the track. "Child of God" also earned him his first Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.

The album marked a rapid transition in Frank's live career. His first "Child of God Tour" drew 48,246 fans to 17 reported shows in 2024 and grossed approximately $1.5 million. Demand was strong enough to justify a far larger second leg the following year.

"Child of God II" and "Your Way's Better"

Frank followed with "Child of God II" in May 2025. The album debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 and reached #1 on the Top Christian Albums chart, making his success increasingly difficult to confine to the traditional Christian-music market.

Its breakout single, "Your Way's Better," became a viral hit and reached #1 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart. More unusually, it crossed into the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, eventually reaching #61. The song was certified Gold and finished 2025 as Billboard's top Hot Christian Song of the year.

Frank also collaborated with Thomas Rhett on "Nothing Else." By this point, his solo catalog had accumulated billions of streams.

At the 2025 Dove Awards, Frank made another major leap, winning Artist of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for "Child of God," and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for "Your Way's Better." Those honors brought his career Dove Award total to five.

"Child of God II" and "Your Way's Better" earned him two more Grammy nominations in 2026, bringing his career total to three nominations.

Touring Earnings

Frank's touring growth provides one of the clearest indications of his financial success.

His 2025 "Child of God Tour Part 2" drew 214,626 people across 26 reported performances and grossed more than $11 million. That represented an enormous increase from the roughly $1.5 million generated by his first headline run only a year earlier.

The jump in 2026 was larger still. "The Jesus Generation Tour" consisted of 29 U.S. dates, primarily in major arenas with several stadium performances. Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury, and The Figs joined the tour.

Demand was extraordinary. More than 470,000 tickets had been sold months before the first concert, and the completed tour ultimately attracted over 519,000 people. The finale at Globe Life Field in Arlington drew more than 35,000 fans.

During the early portion of the run, Pollstar reported an average attendance of 18,175 and an average gross of $1.46 million per show from the dates it had received. Frank reached #5 on Pollstar's LIVE75 ranking, with only major stadium acts including Bad Bunny and Luke Combs among the performers ranking above him at the time.

Concert grosses are not Frank's personal income. Promoters, venues, production costs, supporting artists, musicians, crew, travel, management, and taxes consume substantial portions of ticket revenue. Merchandise and VIP sales, however, can provide additional high-margin income beyond the reported box office.

The tour was described by its promoter as the biggest Christian music tour in history, a remarkable achievement less than three years after Frank began focusing seriously on Christian music as a solo artist.

Broken Back

In July 2025, Frank suffered fractures to his L3 and L4 vertebrae after falling from a skateboard. He documented the injury online and initially wore a brace while recovering.

Confined to bed, Frank wrote and recorded "God's Got My Back," turning the accident into another piece of his increasingly real-time approach to music. Videos documenting the writing process accumulated tens of millions of views.

Two weeks after the accident, Frank said follow-up imaging showed that the fractures were no longer visible and publicly attributed his recovery to divine healing. Whatever the explanation for the unusually fast recovery, he soon returned to performing and avoided what initially appeared capable of becoming a lengthy interruption to his career.

Party Wave

Frank expanded his music again in 2026 by teaming with Noah Hayden in a duo initially announced under another name before becoming Party Wave following a trademark dispute.

The pair released "Dawn Patrol," a 16-track album combining Frank's faith-centered writing with a relaxed, surf-influenced pop sound. The project allowed him to continue experimenting outside the more overtly solo identity of the "Child of God" albums while maintaining the production-heavy, genre-mixing approach that had defined his work since Surfaces.

Personal Life

Frank married Grace Quinn in March 2020. Because the wedding occurred during the early COVID-19 pandemic, the couple initially held a small ceremony and postponed a larger celebration. Grace is also a Baylor graduate.

They welcomed their first son, Bodie, in 2023 and their second son, Sonny Neil, in December 2025. Frank and his family live in Waco, Texas, where he has chosen to remain despite the growing scale of his music career.

Faith and family have become inseparable from Frank's public identity. Rather than moving permanently to Los Angeles or Nashville as his career expanded, he continued writing and producing much of his music from Texas.
